PROPER MAINTENANCE OF THE COMPUTER SYSTEM AND OTHER RELATED GADGETS

Much as the name implies, preventive maintenance, often abbreviated PM, refers to performing proactive maintenance in order to prevent system problems, because the faults developed by personal computers starts from poor maintenance. PM is the direct opposite of diagnostic or corrective maintenance, which is performed to correct an already existing problem.
There’s a common saying that says “prevention is better than cure”: most times the amount you spend to prevent a problem from happening is always cheap compared to the amount used for repairs.
For instance, anyone who has ever owned/cared for a car is supposed to know all about preventive maintenance; if you do change your oil and air filter as at when due your engine will last and you won’t have car troubles down the road.
